Our Independence Policy

The Tri-Chamber of Commerce 

All our Chambers, we believe in maintaining full independence so we can advocate boldly and clearly for the business community. That’s why we follow a strict “No Government Guarantee” policy.

We do not accept government funding and we do not allow government employees or elected officials to serve on our Board of Directors.

This policy ensures:

• Unbiased Advocacy: We speak freely on behalf of businesses without pressure or influence from government agencies or political agendas.
• Clear Public Trust: Our members and the public can trust that our priorities are shaped by business needs—not government interests.
• No Strings Attached: Government funds often come with conditions. By declining them, we keep our voice strong, flexible, and focused on what’s best for our communities.
• Neutral Leadership: Keeping government officials off our board helps us avoid conflicts of interest and ensures our leadership remains focused on economic growth, not politics.
